Our Moving and Assisting People Safely training course is ideal for all health and Care settings as it includes the safe moving and positioning of people as well as manual handling of objects. The course is designed to meet the requirements and recommendations of the HSE Manual Handling Regulations 1992 as well as other relevant regulations and guidelines.
In addition to covering all the relevant regulations and recommendations we will make the training bespoke to the equipment your own staff use. Conducting the training in this way ensures your staff fully recognise and can safely use the appropriate piece of equipment in order to carry out their task of safely moving the person.
Equipment often trained on can include, Hoists and slings – Slide sheets – Rotator discs – Rotundas – Transfer boards and Transfer belts. We will cover both the theory and practical elements of Moving and People Safely.
