Here at the TSL we do all we can to respect your right to privacy and the protection of your personal information. Should anyone have any questions relating to how we collect, deal with and store their personal information please feel free to contact us direct.

The information we use and where we get it from:

We collect basic information via our online booking system, this is information solely provided by the client (you) when you opt to use our on line booking system when making an appointment for any of the services we offer. The information you are required to enter onto the booking system is stored on a password protected computerised system. Information collected on your visit when using a TSL service will be kept in a lock storage system such as a filling cabinet, and only authorised TSL staff will have access when required.

Sharing your information outside the TSL:

We keep all your information confidential and will only share information outside of the TSL with third parties such as law enforcement agencies or where legally requested to do so by a third party.

Your information is only used and stored by the TSL and is not transmitted outside of the UK.


Unless you have told us not to, we may occasionally send you information relating to our services and products. If at any time you change your mind and no longer wish to receive this information you can contact us vis email or by calling 01509 239600.

How long do we keep your information:

We do not keep your information for longer than we need to, which is usually up to 7 years in order to comply with our insurers. Information stored within our hard copy diary is normally your name and a contact telephone number, in addition to the service you have booked in for. This information remains in the diary which is securely stored each evening when the business is closed. Diaries are destroyed within 18 months of the year start.


We are continually committed to ensuring that your information is secure with us. We use many tools to make sure that your information remains confidential at all times.


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their user name). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms:

Details from contact form are only retained in order to reply to the request, details are stored in the form of an email received and are deleted following the completion of the request made/submitted.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
