The First Aid at Work refresher course is for anyone who wishes to fulfil the strong recommendations by the HSE (first aid regulations 1981) that all first aiders in a business should annually refresh their first aid skills. This regulation is valid for every sector in and out of the workplace.
50 Plus First Aid: This course provides basic first aid awareness training and accident prevention to adults over the age of 50. Areas of focus include providing care for partners and dealing with incidents involving younger members of the family. There is also a small section on pet first aid.

Appointed Persons in the Workplace: Businesses in the UK have to make correct provision for first aid in the workplace, and the Appointed Person course is ideal for small businesses as well as extra coverage in medium to large businesses. This course is taught under the guidelines of the HSE First Aid at Work Regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.

Oxygen Provider: This course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in oxygen for first aid. The certificate is valid for 3 years and a recommended annual refresher. This course covers the basics of how to deliver oxygen in first aid emergencies. Oxygen within first aid by trained rescuers can provide an effective way of saving a life or just promoting recovery. On this course, you will learn the basics of how to assemble, use and disassemble an oxygen kit. Oxygen is a simple skill but there are safety concerns, and these are also covered in full on the course.
Anatomy and Physiology: Anatomy and physiology can be a difficult subject, but this course breaks it down into sections to give a basic idea of how the human body works. The course covers all the main body systems to give a breakdown of what it does. Also covered are subjects like anatomical terminology to give you the basics of how parts of the body are described.
Concussion and Brain Injury Awareness at a glance This course covers the effects of a head injury and looks at the damage that can occur to the brain. Brain injury is generally misunderstood, whilst this affected but the injury is largely hidden and struggle to get help and support they deserve and need. This course not only talks about the prevention methods but also the effects, the damage that occurs and the need for early intervention.
