What is Advanced Massage?
Advanced massage allows the massage therapist to take the next step in their massage approach and offers a nice middle ground between the lighter pressure of aromatherapy and Swedish massage and that of sports or remedial massage.
It is a powerful combination of more traditional relaxation strokes and deep tissue work that will allow you as the therapist to start getting right in to the cause of your clients discomfort. It is also worth remembering that this is not a relaxation massage and can be uncomfortable to receive but it is highly effective.
During this course you will learn more about the best ways to position your client in order to access the muscles better, some deep tissue techniques along with developing your skills of palpation and an introduction to using trigger point release.
